ABOUT ME

I have been painting 5 years. About the same time  I retired, I live with my wife of 47 years. We have 2 grown boys, finding their own way. I’m been practising the 3 P’s Painting , Pickleball, be Patient.

I have taken some internet courses, as well as watching lot’s of You Tube videos. I belong to the South Surrey and White Rock Art Society. Always learning. 

A short version of the Lamp Post above. As a Creative Woodworker and tradesman all my life, I starting making this project for fun. But put it a side as I got busy with other things. Fast foreward 20 years, just after retirement I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I was using the Cancer clinic as well as the Peace Arch Hospital. My local Hospital, they really give good care. When I was fully recovered. The Lamp Post’s home became clear, to donate it to PAHF. To give a point of interest and to change their thought’s in a  time of despair. It has been placed in the Hospice Garden August 12, 2025 where many family’s have view , The Lamp of Hope.
